Synaptive Technology (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how QuickDeck (“the App”) handles information.

NO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

The App does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store personal data on external servers. We do not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party services that collect information about you.

LOCAL DATA

The App may store information required for its functionality locally on your Mac, including:

• Apps, files, and folders you add to the launcher
• Launcher layout and item order
• Keyboard shortcut and appearance preferences
• Recently accessed items, if this feature is enabled
• Other settings you configure within the App

This information remains on your device. We cannot access it, and it is not transmitted to us or any third party.

 

PERMISSIONS

The App may request macOS permissions required to provide features such as detecting your chosen global keyboard shortcut or opening selected apps, files, and folders.

These permissions are used only to provide the requested functionality. The App does not record what you type, monitor your activity, access unrelated files, or transmit information from your Mac.

 

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App does not contain third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

The App is distributed through Apple’s Mac App Store. Apple may independently process information related to downloads, purchases, diagnostics, or App Store usage according to Apple’s own privacy policies. Such processing is controlled by Apple and is not performed by us.

 

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

If you contact us directly for support, we will receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We will use this information only to respond to your request and will not sell or use it for advertising.
