• No Text Storage: We do not store, save, or transmit any recognized text

• No Personal Information: We do not collect any personal information such as name, email, or contact details

• No Usage Analytics: We do not track how you use the app

• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share any data with third parties because we don't collect any data

 

How the App Works

1. You select an area of your screen (similar to taking a screenshot)

2. The App processes the selected image locally on your device

3. Text is recognized using Apple's on-device Vision framework

4. The recognized text is made available to you

5. No data leaves your device at any point

 

Data Processing

All image processing and text recognition happens entirely on your Mac using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your data never leaves your device, and we have no access to:

• The images you capture

• The text that is recognized

• Any content visible on your screen

 

Permissions

The App requires the following system permissions to function:

• Screen Recording Permission: Required by macOS to capture the selected screen area for text recognition

• This permission is enforced by macOS and is necessary for the app's core functionality

We only use these permissions for their intended purpose and do not access your screen at any other time.

 

Data Security

Since no data is collected, transmitted, or stored by us, there is no data that could be compromised. All processing occurs locally on your device under your control.

Our App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
